WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's top doubles tandem of seniors David Hopkins and Amogh Prabhakar has been ranked 17th nationally in the ITA preseason doubles rankings, making them the highest-ranked Demon Deacon duo since 2010.
Hopkins was also ranked No. 102 nationally in singles and was joined in the national singles rankings by fellow senior Danny Kreyman who came in at No. 94. Both Kreyman and Hopkins earned All-ACC honors in the spring of 2012.
Hopkins and Prabhakar distinguished themselves as one of the top doubles teams in the country last season, going 24-11 with four wins over ranked teams and rising as high as No. 45 in the national rankings.
Hopkins and Kreyman switched back and forth at the top two positions in Wake Forest's singles lineup last season, with both posting winning records. This is the first time that Hopkins has been ranked nationally in singles and is also the highest that Kreyman has been ranked in his career.
