WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will send representatives to two tournaments this weekend with four players competing at the UVa Ranked +1 Invitational and four players taking part in the Elon Fall Invitational.
David Hopkins, Amogh Prabhakar, Adam Lee and Jon Ho will represent the Demon Deacons at the UVa Ranked +1 Invitational, and Sam Bloom, Anthony Delcore, Brendan Henry and Conner Sherwood will head to the Elon Invitational.
The UVa Ranked +1 Invitational is an elite 64-player event where each school is allowed to enter one unranked player for every ranked player that enters. Wake Forest's top doubles team of No. 17 Hopkins and Prabhakar will lead the Deacons in doubles, and Lee and Ho will also team up. All four players will also play singles, headlined by Hopkins who is ranked No. 102 nationally.
The Elon Invitational will see Delcore, a freshman, making his Deacon debut and Conner Sherwood making his season debut for the Deacs. Freshmen Bloom and Henry, along with Ho, competed last weekend at the Princeton Invitational.
