Opened the season with a strong performance in the 1,500m at the Wake Forest Open on Mar. 17, crossing the line in 4:07.74 ... Placed second in the same event at the Winston-Salem State Invitational on Mar. 31 with a time of 4:10.02 ... Made his lone appearance in the 3,000m steeplechase at the VertKlasse Meeting, finishing seventh overall in 9:54.70.

Raced in the mile run twice during the season, finishing 11th at the UNC Invitational in 4:33.67 and 29th at the Hokie Inivational in 4:34.34.
