Kicked off the season with a new personal-best in the 800m at the Wake Forest Open, placing 23rd in a time of 1:56.59 ... Also competed with the victorious DMR team at the same meet, earning the victory in 10:01.46 ... Shattered his previous personal-best in the 1,500m at the Virginia Tech/Roanoke College Qualifier, claiming fourth place after crossing the line in 3:50.51 ... Starred in his 3,000m steeplechase performances, including victories at the Raleigh Relays (8:57.21) and the Wolfpack Qualifier (8:58.82) ... Earned the first All-ACC honors of his career in the steeplechase at the ACC Championships, placing third overall in a time of 9:00.65 ... Competed in the NCAA Regionals for the second straight year in the steeplechase, garnering a 28th-place finish in 9:05.91 ... Also named to the Capital One Academic All-District first team for the second time and was the recipient of his second ACC Top Six for Service Award.
