2009 Outdoor
Enjoyed tremendous success during the outdoor season ... Qualified for both the NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championships as well as setting the school-record in the javelin ... Advanced to the regionals in the shot put, discus and javelin ... Won the javelin at the Auburn Tiger Classic with a school-record toss of 208-07 ... Then bested his own mark with a throw of 222-10 to finish second at the ACC Championships and earn his first All-ACC honors ... Also had a toss of 213-02 at the Georgia Tech Invite before qualifying for his first NCAA Championships with a throw of 207-05 at the NCAA East Regionals ... Took sixth and qualified for the regionals with a mark of 170-07 in the discus at the ACC Championships ... Finished third at the UNC Invite in the discus with a throw of 162-03 and was second at the Clemson Classic with a toss of 161-05 ... Recorded a throw of 56-06.00 at the Georgia Tech Invite to qualify for the regionals and finish fourth in the event ... Took second at the Clemson Classic in the shot with a toss of 54-04.00 and notched a good mark of 52-01.00 at the NCAA East Regionals.
2009 Indoor
Threw both shot put at seven different events during the winter ... Had a season-best toss of 52-11.00 to finish second at the Carolina Classic ... Threw 51-11.00 to finish fifth at the Hokie Invite and was sixth at the Virginia Tech Elite meet with a mark of 51-06.25 ... Took 10th at the ACC Championships in the shot put with a throw of 50-06.00 ... Was first in the weight throw at the Carolina Classic with a toss of 53-08.50 ... Recorded a throw of 51-00.25 to finish seventh at the Virginia Tech Challenge and was 11th at the ACC Championships with a mark of 46.11.75.
2008 Outdoor
Competed in the shot put in nine different events and bested his previous personal-record at five of those meets ... Recorded his best effort of 54-11.50 at the Penn Relays (4-24-08) where he went on to finish 4th ... Also finished 4th with a mark of 54-08.25 at the Taylor Cattle Farms Classic (5-12-08) ... His throw of 53-07.75 at the ACC Championships was good enough for 7th ... Also at the Taylor Farms Classic, Sensing took the top spot in the discus throw with a season- and career-best toss of 164-10.00 ... Finished 3rd at the Purple and Orange Invite (5-10-08) with a discus throw of 164-09.00 ... After a 5th place showing in the discus at the Wake Forest Open, Sensing finished 9th at the ACC Championships with a throw of 154-04 ... Also finished fourth with a mark of 169-04.00 at the Spec Towns Invite (4-12-08) as well as a 14th place finish in the hammer throw of 142-10.
2008 Indoor
Competed in eight events in the shot put and recorded a season-best mark of 49-11.00 to finish 11th at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2-23-08) ... Posted a mark of 49-04.50 at the ACC Championship (2-29-08) and also registered 48-04.75 at the Virginia Tech Invite (1-11-08) to open the season ... Finished 12th with a discus throw of 124-10 at the Akron Open (2-2-08) and recorded a throw of 39-09.25 in his only outing with the weight throw at the ASU Limited on 2-8-08.
2007 Outdoor
Placed sixth in discus at ACC Championships ... Placed 5th in the discus throw at the 49er Classic hosted by UNC Charlotte ... Placed 8th in the shot put at the Yellow Jacket Invitational ... Named to the 2007 All-ACC Academic Men's Track and Field team ... Placed sixth in discus throw at ACC Championships with a 157-02 mark.

Finished 4th in the shot put at the On Track Open at Liberty University.
