Track and Field Competes at Kentucky Invitational

LEXINGTON, KY. -- The Wake Forest track and field team traveled to the University of Kentucky on Friday where they began competition in the Kentucky Invitational. While most of the action will get underway on Saturday, two Demon Deacon individuals and two relay teams competed Friday in Lexington.

In the women's weight throw, Lindsay Neuberger placed 13th overall with a distance of 52-02.75 (15.92m). On the men's side, Wake Forest's Adam Gabrault came in 12th with a distance of 51-07.25 (15.73m). The Deacons' 4x800m relay teams also participated on Friday, with the women placing fifth out of seven teams (9:25.32) and the men finishing second out of five squads (7:47.58).
