TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Michelle Loyd continued to hit top marks at the NCAA Regionals, setting a new school 400m hurdle record with a 58.06 performance in the final day of competition.

Loyd broke her own record of 58.33 in the event, set previously at the Georgia Tech Invitational on May 17.

The 58.06 mark was the eighth best time in the regional finals, with only the top five finishers advancing on to nationals.

The regional competition wrapped up the outdoor season for the Demon Deacons. Qualifying members of the squad will now head to the USATF Junior Championships at the end of June.
