Ann Flynn is entering her 11th year in the Wake Forest Athletic Department. She currently serves as an academic counselor for the Demon Deacon football team and the Wake Forest cheer and dance squad.

Flynn is responsible for helping student-athletes fulfill the undergraduate academic requirements, while also teaching time management skills and coordinating tutors and study halls. She works specifically with second- and third-year football players.

Prior to to coming to Wake Forest, Flynn was a stay-at-home mother and raised her three sons, Brady, Kenley and Emery before working at Kernersville Elementary as a computer lab instructor and fourth grade teacher's assistant.

Born in Rock Hill, S.C., Flynn grew up in Cary, N.C. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Salem College in Winston-Salem.

Flynn and husband, Bill, have lived in Kernersville for the past 27 years.
