Jason Eshbaugh is in his eighth season with the women's basketball program. He begins his first season as the director of player development and scouting after spending the first seven seasons as the director of basketball operations.

His responsibilities with the Demon Deacons this season include postgame film breakdown as well as opposing player personal breakdowns. He will also be assisting with official recruit visits and will be in charge of the team's hustle board. In addition to his continued roll of overseeing the day-to-day operation of the team and scheduling games and practices, he will help develop content for the Wake Forest women's basketball recruiting website.

Eshbaugh joined the Demon Deacons after working for the University of Kentucky's women's basketball program. While at Kentucky, he served as a graduate assistant from 2002-04. His duties at Kentucky included film exchange and all video scouting.

Prior to Kentucky, Eshbaugh spent one season as the assistant coach for the varsity men's basketball team at Mercer Area High School, in Mercer, Pa. While with the Mustangs, he helped lead the team to a 9-13 record.

A native of Mercer, Pa., Eshbaugh received his undergraduate degree in business management from Grove City College before earning his master's degree in sports management from Kentucky.

Eshbaugh currently resides in Winston-Salem.
