GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest head coach Jen Hoover has been named a member of the 2013 ACC Women's Basketball Legends Class as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Hoover, who is in her first season as head coach, is the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder and the only player in school history to surpass 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. She starred for the Deacons from 1987-91 and was a three-time All-ACC honoree. Hoover was also a member of the only team in school history to play in the NCAA Tournament.

The Legends will be honored at the annual ACC Women's Basketball Legends' Brunch on Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m., and then will be introduced to the Coliseum crowd at halftime of the first semifinal game on Saturday, March 9. The ACC Women's Basketball Legends program honors both players and coaches from each of the ACC's 12 schools who have contributed to the league's rich tradition.
