WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will host Georgia Tech on Tuesday, February 3 for the annual Pack the House Night. General admission tickets are only $2. The Demon Deacons are 14-5, 2-4 after a 78-69 conference win on Sunday over Miami. In her first career start, freshman Secily Ray scored a career-high 24 points and added 11 rebounds in the WFU win. The Thomasville, N.C. native earned freshman of the week honors for the performance. Georgia Tech is 16-5 and 4-3 in the ACC. On Sunday the Yellow Jackets defeated Clemson 49-41 in Atlanta. Georgia Tech has also defeated North Carolina and Miami in conference play. It may be a Clash of the "Alex"s on Tuesday, as both teams are led in scoring and rebounding by athletes named Alex. Georgia Tech's Alex Montgomery is a 6-1 sophomore guard that currently averages 13.5 points per game and 6.9 rebounds. The Deacons are led by Alex Tchangoue, a 5-11 senior guard that averages 13.4 points per game and 6.7 rebounds. Both athletes were held to single digits in their last outing. Wake Forest will follow up the Georgia Tech contest on Thursday, hosting NC Central at 7 p.m.
