Deacs Begin Run at ACC Tournament
• The Wake Forest women's basketball team begins its run at the 2018 ACC Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 28, as the 11th-seeded Deacs face No. 14 seed Pittsburgh.
• Tip-off is set for approximately 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on RSN, which includes Fox Sports South.

Last Time Out
• Senior Amber Campbell scored a team-high 13 points in her final regular season home game as Wake Forest dropped a 48-41 decision to Virginia on Senior Day.
• Freshman Ivana Raca added nine points while Alex Sharp brought in a team-best eight rebounds.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Junior Elisa Penna was named All-ACC Second Team while senior Amber Campbell was named ACC All-Defensive Team as league awards were announced Tuesday. Penna is the first All-ACC honoree for Wake Forest since 2015 and Campbell became the Deacs' first All-Defensive honoree since 2004.
• Senior Amber Campbell continues her rise up the Wake Forest scoring charts as she currently ranks eighth in program history with 1,475 career points.
Ariel Stephenson became the 25th player in program history to record 1,000 career points earlier this season and is currently 23rd all-time with 1,069 career points.
Elisa Penna, after missing the beginning of the season due to injury, has now scored in double figures in 17 of 23 contests and is ninth in the ACC in scoring (15.8).
• The Deacs rank fifth in the league in blocked shots, averaging 4.2 per game. The team also owns the glass, averaging 39.8 rebounds per game, sixth in the ACC.

Scouting The Opponent
• Pittsburgh, the No. 14 seed, is 10-19 overall and 2-14 in ACC play.
• The two teams met back on Jan. 4, with the Demon Deacons picking up a 58-49 road victory. Yacine Diop scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Panthers in defeat.

Next Time Out
• The winner of Wednesday's first-round game will move onto the second round Thursday evening where they will face No. 6 seed Miami.
• Tip-off for Thursday's game is set for approximately 8 p.m. on RSN.
