GREENSBORO, N.C - Wake Forest has earned the No. 10-seed in the ACC Tournament and will face No. 7-seed Georgia Tech in the opening round. The game is set for 6 p.m. Thursday evening, March 7, at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The Demon Deacons are 12-18 on the season and finished with an ACC record of 5-13. Georgia Tech won four out of its final five games of the regular season and is 14-15 on the year.

The Yellow Jackets won both meetings between the two teams this season. Tech won 89-82 in overtime in Atlanta and 82-64 in Winston-Salem on Feb. 21.

The winner of the game will take on No. 2-seed Maryland on Friday night at 6 p.m.

Wake Forest is the only team in the conference that has won a game in the ACC Tournament in each of the last four years.
