Wake Forest Storylines

• The WNIT appearance was the second consecutive postseason berth for the Deacs, just the second time in program history the team has appeared in the postseason in back-to-back years.
Elisa Penna was named preseason All-ACC by the league’s coaches after leading the team in scoring (13.4 ppg) and finishing third on the team in rebounds (5.7 rpg) a season ago.
• The Deacs inked three prep standouts on National Signing Day this past Wednesday, Kaylen Dickson, Lindsey Jarosinski and Christinia Morra.
