Field Hockey Announces Five-Member 2014 Recruiting Class

Yale transfer Georgia Holland will play out her final collegiate season at Wake Forest

2016 (Junior)
Came off the bench in 10 games…recorded one assist against Appalachian State.

2015 (Sophomore)
Played in seven games and made one start ... Made only start of the season in 3-2 overtime win against Ohio State ... Took one shot on goal in the win over Missouri State.

2014 (Freshman)
Appeared in 10 games and started in one in her first season as a Demon Deacon, including action in the ACC Championship match against No. 6 Syracuse ... Made her first-career start in a 4-0 win at Richmond (Sept. 21) ... Scored one goal on two shots for two total points ... Tallied her first-career goal in Wake Forest's 3-0 win over Appalachian State (Sept. 23) at Kentner Stadium.

High School
Earned four varsity letters in field hockey at the Collegiate School under Head Coach Karen Doxey... Led the Cougars to the LIS Championship in 2010 and 2011 before earning back-to-back state championships in 2012 and 2013... Was named All-LIS, All-State and All-Metro for three consecutive years (2011-2013)... Named an NFHCA All-South Region team member in 2012 and 2013... Honored as the All-State and All-Metro Player of the Year as a senior in 2013...
