Field Hockey Announces Five-Member 2014 Recruiting Class

Yale transfer Georgia Holland will play out her final collegiate season at Wake Forest

2017 (Senior)
Appeared in and started all 20 games… Scored a career-best three goals for the season… Delivered the game-winning goal against Miami University (Sept. 24)… Scored goals in wins over Liberty (Oct. 1) and Richmond (Oct. 8)… Named to the All-ACC Academic Team.

2016 (Junior)
Started in three games and saw the field in all 19…recorded three goals for Wake Forest including her first of the season at Ohio State, one at William & Mary and one against Northeastern…recorded an assist against App St.

2015 (Sophomore)
Played in 11 games and made three starts as part of the Wake Forest defense ... Saw action in wins over No. 4 Duke, No. 8 Louisville and No. 3 North Carolina ... Made first start of the season against Liberty ... Started next two matches at Louisville and Miami.

2014 (Freshman)
Saw action in 20 of 21 matches in her first season as a Demon Deacon at the striker and midfield positions ... Made her first career start in a 3-0 win against Appalachian State (Sept. 23) ... Started two more matches against No. 11 Louisville (Sept. 26) and California (Sept. 28) ... Finished the season with one goal on four shots for two total points ... Scored her first-career goal at Wake Forest in her first start against Appalachian State. High School
Earned four varsity letters and was a four-year starter in field hockey at Kentucky Country Day School under Head Coach Amy Charasika... Served as the captain of the Bearcats during the 2013 season... Was named to the Kentucky Select Second Team in 2011 and the First Team in 2013...
