GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest field hockey's Megan Anderson, Jule Grashoff and Rachel Hirsch were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced Friday, Feb. 2.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

Anderson, a junior from Melbourne, Australia, finished second on the team with 13 assists, which ranked fifth in the conference, one behind the four co-leaders, who all had 14. She added three goals, including the game-winner against Liberty on Oct 1.

Grashoff, a junior from Germany, tied for the ACC lead with 14 assists and tied for third in the league with 16 goals. She also ranked third in the conference with 46 points. In addition, Grashoff delivered three game-winning goals for the Deacs this season. Her 16 goals and 14 assists are career bests in her three seasons at Wake Forest.

Hirsch, a graduating senior from Prospect, Kentucky, appeared in all 20 of the team's games and scored three goals. She netted the game-winning goal against Miami University on Sept. 24.

The Demon Deacons concluded their 2017 season with a 12-8 overall record. The team fell, 2-0, to eventual NCAA runner-up Maryland in the NCAA Championship First Round.
