WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Former Wake Forest All-American Lauren Crandall is set to make her second consecutive appearance in the Olympic Games. After making the team in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Crandall will now serve as the captain for USA Field Hockey in London.

Team USA earned a spot in the games after defeating Argentina in the Pan American Games back in October for the first time in the nation's history.

Crandall sat down with Steven Wright of WakeForestSports.com to discuss that victory, what it will be like to play in the Olympics with former Demon Deacon teammates Claire Laubach and Michelle Kasold and what her baking specialty is in the kitchen.

The USA Field Hockey team will begin competition on July 29 against Germany.
