Wake Forest Field Hockey Hosts Indiana
Sept. 1, 2005
Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest field hockey will play its third Big Ten opponent in as many games, as the Demon Deacons host Indiana Sunday afternoon in Kentner Stadium. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
Coming off a pair of victories against Iowa and Michigan at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, the Demon Deacons will look to extend their 14-game winning streak over Big Ten opponents. In the last five years, Wake Forest has accumulated a 22-5 record over Big Ten schools, including a perfect 4-0 record in the NCAA tournament.
Like Wake Forest, Indiana enters the weekend with a 2-0 record. The Hoosiers, who will travel to Appalachian State on Friday, Sept. 2, have defeated both New Hampshire and Northeastern, 2-1.
