No.2 Wake Forest Field Hockey Closes Regular Season At Boston College

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 2 Wake Forest field hockey team will close its regular season at Boston College, Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. The game will be just the second time in series history that the two teams have played in Chestnut Hill.

The Demon Deacons enter the game coming off a close game against Virginia last weekend. For the second time this season, junior Chelsea Cipriani scored the overtime game-winner to lead the Deacs to victory. For her efforts, she was named the ACC Player of the Week.

Wake Forest is led in scoring by sophomore Michelle Kasold. Kasold, a native of Chapel Hill, N.C., has either scored or added an assist in each of the last three games. Overall, Kasold has 14 goals and 11 assists. Following close behind, Cipriani and sophomore Christine Suggs each add 11 goals on the season.

Boston College enters the game with a 14-4 overall record that includes a 2-1 victory over Duke and a 1-0 win over Virginia. The Eagles are led by Bob Dirks and Crystal Frates with 17 and 13 goals, respectively.
