CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's golf team finished the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in 16th place after carding a final round 312.

Individually, senior Olafia Kristinsdottir was the Deacons' top finisher, finishing tied for 52nd at 14-over par. Kristinsdottir made a total of six birdies on the weekend and carded rounds of 74-76-80.

The Demon Deacons carded rounds of 304-310-312 and finished at 62-over par.

Sophomore Emily Wright had a solid weekend for the Deacs, shooting rounds of 78-76-77 to finish in a tie for 55th at 15-over par. Fellow sophomore Marissa Dodd was two shots behind Wright at 17-over after leading the team on Sunday with a 4-over 76.

Freshman Mariana Sims posted her second-straight round of 80 to finish in a tie for 73rd at 19-over while sophomore Allison Emrey shot rounds of 77-80-79 to finish tied for 77th at 20-over par.

Michelle Hartenstein, who played as an individual this week, finished with a final round 87.

Host North Carolina carded a final round 291 and won the event by 13 shots. The Tar Heels finished at 8-over par while Mississippi shot the round of the day, a 1-over 289, and finished in a tie for second with Baylor at 21-over par.

Individually, Florida's Isabelle Lendl fired a 3-under 69 and took medalist honors by three shots over Baylor's Hayley Davis. Lendl finished the 54-hole event at 6-under par.

The Demon Deacons will close-out the fall at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. on Oct. 26-28.
