WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest women's golf team will open the spring season on Monday at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif. The 54-hole event will run through Wednesday, Feb. 10. The Deacons have enjoyed a fair amount of success at Palos Verdes Country Club, finishing in the top-10 all four years including second last year and fourth in 2006. Individually, Natalie Sheary won her first collegiate tournament at the Northrop Grumman as a freshman in 2008 while graduate Nannette Hill finished tied for fourth in both 2006 and 2009.
