WILMINGTON, N.C. - The No. 18 Wake Forest women's golf team is set to conclude its fall season at the sixth annual Landfall Tradition held on the Jack Nicklaus Course at the Country Club of Landfall on its 6,072-yard, par-72 course.

The 54-hole tournament, hosted by UNC Wilmington, features a field of 12 women's teams and 12 men's teams. The women will tee off at 9:12 a.m. each of the three days of competition, which begins on Friday and concludes Sunday.

Wake Forest is one of eight teams ranked in Golfweek's Top 50. Purdue leads the field with a No. 12 ranking, while the Demon Deacons check in at No. 18. Other ranked teams include No. 22 Michigan State, No. 25 Virginia, No. 28 North Carolina, No. 34 N.C. State, No. 40 Tulsa and No. 43 Ohio State. UNC Greensboro, Michigan, Penn State and host UNC Wilmington round out the field.

The Deacs' team of five will include seniors Laura Crawford and Jordan Craig, junior Nannette Hill and freshmen Allie Bodemann and Natalie Sheary. Sheary has already made a name for herself in collegiate golf - the rookie is ranked 40th individually and captured a top 5 finish earlier this month at the Tar Heel invitational. Crawford is also ranked in the top 100, checking in at 62nd.

Wake Forest will tee off at 9:57 a.m. with Ohio State and North Carolina. Live results can be followed at golfstat.com.
