Kupcho Named 2015 Colorado Women’s Golf Association Player of the Year

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Freshman Jennifer Kupcho was named the Colorado Women’s Golf Association Player of the Year for 2015. She took home the honor for the second-straight year.

Kupcho became the fifth person to claim the CWGA Player of the Year award for two consecutive years. She landed a CWGA player of the year honor for the fifth time, having earned the junior award in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Kupcho is ranked 71st in the most recent women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking and is one of the top 100 college golfers in the country.

In 2015 she claimed the CWGA Stroke Play Championship by 21 shots at Pinehurst Country Club and won the 4A girls state high school title by 10 strokes. She advanced to the final 16 at the U.S. Women's Amateur and the Women's Western National Amateur Championship.

Kupcho posted three top-10 finishes in her first semester at Wake Forest. She leads the team with a 73.25 stroke average.
