Kaley Fountain, one of the most accomplished players in Wake Forest women's soccer history, joins the coaching staff for the 2010 season while she completes her undergraduate degree. Fountain turned in one of the best seasons ever by a Demon Deacon in 2009, tying the school record with 32 points, and scoring 11 goals, good for fourth in the Wake Forest single-season record books.
The Austin, Texas native was a three-time All-ACC selection, making the first team in 2009, and was named an All-American by the NSCAA and Soccer America in 2009.
Fountain was drafted by FC Gold Pride in the second round of the 2010 Women's Professional Soccer draft. She played in 10 WPS games in 2010 - five for FC Gold Pride and five for the Atlanta Beat.
