2009 (at West Virginia): Graduated high school early and enrolled at West Virginia in January 2009 ... As a freshman, played in 12 matches, starting 11 while battling injuries ... Scored winning goal in 1-0 win vs. #9 Rutgers in Big East quarterfinal.
Background: Did not play high school soccer, opting to play club with the Rockville Centre Tornadoes ... Guided club team to the state cup finals in 2007 and 2008 for Region I ... Played ODP for the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association for two seasons ...
