WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's soccer player Jill Hutchinson was named to this week's Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week, following her two goals last week vs. Louisville and UNC-Greensboro.

In her first start of the season, the sophomore striker scored the game winning goal vs. the previously undefeated Louisville Cardinals on Wednesday night in Winston-Salem. In the following Demon Deacon contest, Hutchinson registered Wake's only goal in a 1-1 tie with UNC-Greensboro. Hutchinson now leads the Deacons in scoring, posting three goals through seven contests. The Wayne, PA native has already matched her final goal tally of 2006 (2).

The last time a Demon Deacon earned Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week honors was in September 2005. Then-junior Keisha Garrick received the online magazine honors for anchoring a back line that shut down No. 5 Santa Clara and San Diego in the Wake Forest/ACC/WCC Challenge.
