WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Senior forward Jill Hutchinson was named to Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week after her two-goal performance in a 3-0 victory against No. 5 Florida State.

A native of Wayne, Pa., Hutchinson notched her third multi-goal game of the 2009 season and also the fourth of her career against the Seminoles. With Wake leading 1-0 in the 57th minute, Hutchinson doubled the score with a beautiful shot inside the right post. She put the game out of reach with her second goal of the game in the 77th minute.

For the season, Hutchinson leads Wake Forest with 10 goals and 23 points. She has also assisted on three goals in 2009.

Hutchinson now has 32 goals in her career, which ranks her second in school history, two shy of tying the school record held by Sarah Kozey. Hutchinson also ranks fourth in career points at Wake Forest with 76 (32 goals, 12 assists).

The victory against Florida State improved Wake Forest to 10-2-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Wake Forest continues conference play with a pair of games this week. The Deacs travel to Raleigh to face NC State on Thursday at 7 p.m. and return home to host Miami on Sunday at 1 p.m.
