Heather Wong is entering her fifth year in 2015-16 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Wake Forest University. She serves as the primary athletic trainer for the women's tennis and women's soccer teams.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut, Heather earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. She served as the student athletic trainer with the men's soccer and baseball teams at UConn. In addition, she worked at the Pomfret School, E.O. Smith High School, and Trinity College.

Heather obtained her master's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in sport pedagogy and psychological sciences from Louisiana State University in 2011. During her time at LSU, Heather served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. During her first year she worked with the men's tennis team and the second year she worked with the women's soccer team. Her additional responsibilities included supervising the pre-professional athletic training students, athletic insurance coordinator and drug testing.

Heather is a native of South Burlington, Vermont. She currently resides in Winston-Salem.
