Final Stats

DURHAM, N.C. - The seventh-ranked Duke Blue Devils topped No. 32 Wake Forest with a 6-1 decision on a rainy Thursday afternoon in Durham, N.C. The Demon Deacons are now 8-8, 4-3 while the Devils improved to 13-3, 6-2.

Sasha Kulikova had the only WFU win of the day, taking a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) win at No. 1 over Duke lineup leader Tara Iyer. Christian Tara split sets with Blue Devil Ellah Nze at No. 2, but fell 10-4 in the super tiebreaker.

The Demon Deacons will continue road matches this weekend with North Carolina on Saturday and NC State on Sunday.
