Jeff Wyshner Announces Revamped Tennis Camps
Jan. 14, 2013
WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest women's tennis program has announced the dates for its annual co-ed Tennis Camps @ Wake Forest University. These camps feature the same great program with the same great instructors at new 20% reduced prices.
"I am really excited to offer these new camps this summer with the same instructors and administration that have run camps for the last several years," said head women's tenns coach Jeff Wyshner. "Having reduced our prices 20% from last summer because we separated these camps from the outside entity that set our prices in past years, we feel we are offering a great tennis learning experience at a much more manageable price. We had great camps last summer, and with our ability to keep campers indoors much of the day, I feel like our students really learned more throughout the week because the summer heat didn't wear them out."
Coach Wyshner will have Tamer Hegazy, Director of Tennis for the Wake Forest Tennis Center, returning for his 13th year as Director of Tennis Instruction at the Wake Forest tennis camps, and women's tennis assistant coach, Andy Roland, will return for the third year as Assistant Director of Tennis Instruction and Director of Dormitory Life.
There will be three separate one-week sessions this summer beginning with an overnight and day camp running Sunday, June 16th to Thursday, June 20th. The second session will run from Sunday, July 14th to Thursday, July 18th and will also welcome overnight and day campers. New this year will be a third session that is for commuting students only that will run from Monday, July 29th to Friday, August 2nd to better serve local families who need supervision for their children through Friday's workday.
