The Matchups:

• The No. 21 Demon Deacons head to Madison, Wisconsin to take part in the ITA National Women's Tennis Team Indoor Championship, beginning on Friday, Feb. 9.
• It is the team's first appearance in the event since 2006.
• Wake Forest begins play by taking on No. 2 Vanderbilt, the No. 1 seed in the field, on Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. (ET). 

Last Time Out:

• Wake Forest won its ITA Kickoff Weekend draw for the first time in program history by defeating No. 18 Arkansas and No. 14 Ohio State on Jan. 26 and 27 in Columbus, Ohio.
• In both matches, the Demon Deacons rallied after losing the doubles point and won four out of five singles matches to take home the title.

Deacs In the Rankings:
• After its 4-0 start to the season, the Demon Deacons have earned national recognition in the two major polls.
• In the ITA's weekly poll, the Demon Deacons have moved into the No. 21 spot.
• In the USTA's latest poll, the Deacs moved all the way up to a tie for No. 12, up from No. 14 the previous week.
• Wake Forest has two players ranked inside the top 100 of the ITA's singles rankings. Junior Emma Davis sits at No. 77 while Eliza Omirou comes in at No. 80.
• The doubles pairing of Omirou and Anna Ulyashchenko check in at No. 34.
• The duo of Emma Davis and Chandler Carter sit at No. 22. It marks the first time the Deacs have had two ranked doubles pairings since September 2007.

The Field:
• Vanderbilt, the number one seed in the tournament, is ranked No. 2 by the ITA.
• The 16-team field consists of four of the top five and nine of the top 10 teams in the ITA's latest poll.

Up Next:
• Wake Forest will open its conference schedule with a road matchup against Clemson on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.
