Duncan Named to All-ACC Women's Tennis Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest senior standout Kayla Duncan has been named to the 2012 All-ACC Women's Tennis Team, the conference announced Thursday. Duncan established herself as one of the best players in the ACC this season while playing at the No. 1 singles and doubles position for the Demon Deacons. The Winston-Salem, N.C. native soared to a career-high No. 63 singles ranking after defeating five nationally ranked players. She also started the season ranked No. 7 in the ITA doubles rankings with partner Kathryn Talbert. In her two years at Wake Forest after transferring from TCU, Duncan has won 32 singles matches and 40 doubles matches, and posted a 19-14 singles record and 19-17 doubles record this season. Duncan and Talbert are the ninth-winningest doubles team in school history with a 30-12 record together.
