TJ Cloud is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Wake Forest volleyball team.

Cloud began coaching in Atlanta, Ga., for the Suwanee Sports Academy as an assistant in 2008-09. In 2010, he coached a 13s team for Grand Strand Juniors in South Carolina, and he also served as an assistant coach at North Myrtle Beach High School. In addition, he directed the Youth Recreation League for the North Myrtle Beach Recreation Center.

Cloud learned the game playing on the beach in Hilton Head, S.C. and has progressed into a well-respected open level beach volleyball player.

He was won numerous beach tournament, including the EEVB Horry County Tournament where, along with partner Brian Tillman, he defeated one of the top AVP players, Nick Lucena, in the finals.

Cloud is originially from Denver, Colo., and has lived in Las Vegas, Nev., Hilton Head, S.C. and North Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is currently pursuing a degree in education and is a full-time student. In his free time, he enjoys kayaking, surfing and playing as much volleyball as possible.

Cloud currently resides in Yadkinville, N.C., and is engaged to former North Carolina standout Laura Green.
