Last Time Out
•Wake Forest defeated UNCW, Davidson and Winthrop last weekend in the annual Deacon Invitation held in Reynolds Gym. Andrea Beck led the Deacs with 55 kills in the three matches combined. Freshman Anna Carley had a standout match against Davidson in which she tallied 20 kills and 13 digs.

This Week's Opponents
•The Demon Deacons head to Milwaukee, Wis. to play in the Marquette Tournament.
•On Friday, the Deacs will face No.23 Michigan at 1 p.m. before facing Eastern Illinois at 6 p.m. The following day, Wake Forest will play No.25 Northern Iowa at 11 a.m. followed by a match with host Marquette at 8 p.m.

Series History
•The Deacs have only faced Michigan once back in 2007 in the Best Western/Sycamore Inn Classic in Oxford, Ohio in which the Wolverines won 3-0.
•This will be the first time that Wake Forest has faced either Eastern Illinois, Northern Iowa or Marquette.

Next Up...
• Wake Forest will return home on Sept.14 when they host the Black and Gold Challenge in Reynolds Gym. The Deacs will take on Toledo on Friday night, followed by matches against Campbell and Appalachian State on Saturday.
