Deacs Take Early Lead but Fall to Tar Heels 3-1
Wake Forest outlasted North Carolina in an intense first set 30-28, but the Tar Heels rallied to take the next three sets and claim the conference victory Friday evening in Reynolds Gym.

•Wake Forest heads to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday night with a showdown against ACC rival North Carolina at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena.
•NC State and North Carolina kicked off ACC play last Friday with the Wolfpack knocking off the Tar Heels 3-1 in Raleigh. UNC rebounded with a 3-2 win over Ohio on Sunday.
