• The Deacs fell to NC State on Wednesday night in the ACC opener.
• Kristin Grissom had three solo blocks and two block assists in the match while chipping in six kills for the Demon Deacons.
• Andrea Beck had 12 kills and Kylie Hargreaves had six.

• Wake Forest heads to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday night with a showdown against ACC rival North Carolina.
• NC State and North Carolina kicked off ACC play last Friday with the Wolfpack knocking off the Tar Heels 3-1 in Raleigh. UNC rebounded with a 3-2 win over Ohio on Sunday.

• North Carolina has won three-straight over Wake Forest with the Deacs last defeating the Tar Heels in 2009. UNC defeated Wake Forest 3-1 in Reynolds Gym in the teams' only meeting last season.
