Oct. 19, 2009

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest volleyball team has announced that its Oct. 31 match against Boston College will start at 7 pm.

The match was previously listed as TBA but with the scheduled 3:30 pm kickoff of the Wake Forest vs. Miami football game, the volleyball match is now set to begin at 7 pm.

The Deacons (7-13, 5-4 ACC) hold a 6-2 advantage in the all-time series with Boston College and have won each of the last two matches. In the team's first meeting of the season, Wake got a double-double from Kristen White and pulled out an emotional 3-2 victory in Chestnut Hill.

Wake will also host Maryland on Friday night Oct. 30, at 7 pm. That match will be the Deacons' Dig For The Cure match where money will be raised for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure's effort during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
