GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest setter Danae Rosendall has been named ACC Volleyball Freshman of the Week for the week of Oct. 31 - Nov. 6, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

This marks the second time this season that Rosendall has earned the award, as she was also named ACC Freshman of the Week on September 19.

The Hudsonville, Mich. native led Wake Forest to a 2-1 record on the week, including a pair of five-set victories over conference rivals Virginia Tech and Virginia.

Against the Hokies on Friday, Rosendall recorded her second double-double of the season with 49 assists and 11 digs. She also added four kills without committing an error, as well as two blocks. She followed that performance with a 50-assist, six-dig outing in a win over the Cavaliers on Saturday.

Before jumping into ACC action last week, the Demon Deacons dropped a hard-fought match to VCU on Tuesday. Rosendall turned in the highest assist total of her young career with 64 on the night, and that number was also the most assists by any player in the conference all season.

For the week, Rosendall had 163 assists, 12 kills, 25 digs, five aces and five blocks.

Wake Forest will be back in action this weekend when Florida State and Miami visit Winston-Salem. The Demon Deacons are schedule to host the Seminoles on Friday at 7 p.m. and the Hurricanes on Saturday at 5 p.m. Admission to both matches will be free.
