Last Time Out
Wake Forest beat Boston College 3-1 on Sunday afternoon behind 20 kills from Jazmen Russell. The sophomore also had nine digs, one solo block and one block assist in the victory. Russell also had 10 kills in the loss to Maryland on Friday night.
The Demon Deacons have surpassed the win total from 2011 and look to build on it with five matches left in the season.
This Week's Opponents
Miami comes to Winston-Salem after defeating NC State on Sunday 3-1 in Raleigh, N.C. The Hurricanes had their 10-match winning streak snapped on Friday at North Carolina when the Tar Heels won 3-0 but is still receiving votes in the latest poll.
Miami ranks second in the ACC in kills per set with 14.23 and leads the ACC in limiting opponents to a .167 hitting percentage.
No.13 Florida State had its 16-match winning streak broken on Sunday when they lost to North Carolina 3-1 in Chapel Hill, N.C. Before that, the Seminoles had only lost to Miami in the ACC.

Wake Forest Comes Up Short at Miami
Wake Forest came up short on Sunday afternoon against Miami who defeated the Deacs 3-0 (11-25, 17-25, 15-25) in a match broadcasted live on ESPN3.
Miami leads the all-time series over the Deacs 9-6 which includes a win on Sept. 30.
Wake Forest is looking for its first win over Florida State since Oct. 22, 2010 as the Demon Deacons fell 3-1 earlier this season.
Wake Forest heads on the road next week to Clemson and Georgia Tech.
